Accuro has partnered with Allscripts this year to participate in Students@Work, a program of the North Carolina Business Committee for Education (NCBCE). The program focuses on teaching students the importance of making great first impressions in the professional world.

On April 7th, Accuro president Jennifer Dunleavy along with Kim Raynor, Director of Business Development, Diane Craver, Director of Recruitment and Jim Montenieri, Talent Acquisition Partner will visit West Millbrook Middle School in Raleigh, NC to present information and strategies on careers.

The Accuro team will offer students hypothetical interview scenarios and demonstrations which will emphasize manners, verbal and written communication, non-verbal communication and the importance of being present and prepared when in a professional setting. The students will then break into their own groups and, with the guidance of representatives from Accuro, will develop a career-oriented presentation to deliver to their peers.

The Accuro team is honored and excited to have the opportunity to give back to our community through the 2014 Students@Work program and to help bridge the gap between education and the demand for talent, a primary objective of the NCBCE.
